Sanskrit: 
“dharaNee garBha samBhootham 
vidhyuth kaanthi samapraBham 
kumaaram shakthi hastham cha 
mangaLam praNamaamyaham I” 

Thamizh: 
“vachana nal dhairiyaththOdu 
mannavar sabaiyil vaarththai 
bhuja bala paraakramangaL 
pOr-thanil veRRi aaNmai 
nijamudan avar-avarkku 
neeL-nilam-thanil aLikkum 
kujan nila maganaam sevvaai 
kurai kazhalgaL pORRi! pORRi!”
